Welcome to the League Policies page of our Sports Club! Our Big Kid Basketball League is a safe and fun environment for players, parents, and coaches. We ask that all parents review all of the policies prior to having their kid(s) join and play in the league. This includes emergency contact information, liability, health and safety risks, and that the league will not be held liable for injury. Please read through all of the policies in detail and contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for joining our league and we look forward to a great season!

Liability
Big Kid Basketball League's liability policy states that all participants, including players, coaches, parents, and spectators, are responsible for their own safety and assume any risks associated with playing, participating or going to and from the league practices and games. The League shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries occurring as a result of participation in the League activities. The League also assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury that may occur as a result of negligence, failure to follow the rules, or any other cause.
Health and Safety
Big Kid Basketball League takes the health of its athletes seriously and has a policy in place to protect them. All parents or guardians must take full responsibility for the health and wellness of their children while participating in the League. The League is not responsible for any illness or the spreading thereof. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to let the coach know of any allergies, injuries, or health concerns their child may have before participating in any activities. The League will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its athletes.
Photo Consent
At Big Kid Basketball League, we assume photo consent upon registration. If parents do not want pictures taken of their child(ren), they must provide written notice to the coach outlining such. Without written notice, photos of players will be taken during practices and games and used on our website and social media platforms. We take the privacy of our players seriously, so we ask that all parents provide written consent or decline permission for photos of their child(ren).
Emergency Contact
At Big Kid Basketball League, we take the safety of our participants seriously. Our league has a policy that all parents must provide at least one emergency contact per child. Please fill out our Emergency Contact Form if you haven't already done so. This information will be used in the case of an accident or emergency. All emergency contact information must be kept up to date and provided to the League at the time of registration. In the event of an emergency, we will contact the emergency contact listed on the player’s registration form. If a parent or guardian cannot be reached, we will then contact the emergency contact listed. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping to ensure the safety of our players.
